Why a Second Opinion Matters Before Treatment Abroad

A serious diagnosis brings many questions. Is this the right treatment? Is surgery really

needed? How much will it cost, and how long will it take? A second opinion from an

experienced specialist can help you answer these questions before you make a big

decision.

What is a second opinion?

A second opinion is when another qualified doctor reviews your reports and diagnosis.

They may confirm your current treatment plan or suggest a different approach. Either

way , you gain confidence in your next step.

When should you consider one?

  • You have been diagnosed with cancer or another serious illness
  • Major surgery, a transplant or long-term treatment has been recommended
  • Your condition is not improving with the current treatment
  • You are considering IVF or fertility treatment
  • You want to compare treatment options and costs before travelling

You don’t need to travel first

Many patients think they must go abroad to see a specialist. In most cases, that is not

true. With RJ Health Bridge, you can get an opinion from international hospitals while

staying in Bangladesh.

1. Send your reports, scans and prescriptions to us on WhatsApp.

2. W e share them with suitable specialists in India or China.

3. You receive the doctor’s opinion, usually within 24 to 48 hours. Urgent cases can be faster.

4. If needed, we arrange a call so you can speak with the doctor directly.

What to send for a clear opinion

The more complete your reports, the more useful the opinion. Please share recent test

results, imaging such as CT, MRI, or PET scans with their reports, biopsy or pathology

reports, discharge summaries, and your current medicines.

A better decision, not a pressure to travel

A second opinion does not mean you must travel for treatment. Its purpose is to give you clear information. Some patients continue treatment at home with more confidence; others choose to travel. The choice is always yours.
